Power on the server and, when you see the Dell logo onscreen, then press Ctrl + Alt + Enter (or sometimes Ctrl + D) to enter the BIOS Service Mode.

Go to Main → Service Tag (or Asset Tag) field.

Type the Service Tag you wish to use, then press Enter to save.

Exit and save changes.
